Hysterosalpingogram (HSG)

A hysterosalpingogram or HSG is an x-ray procedure used to see whether the fallopian tubes are patent (open) and if the inside of the uterus (uterine cavity) is normal.

Intrauterine adhesions: what are they?

The inside of the uterus is like a balloon with the front and back
walls flat against each other.

Hydrosalpinx

The fallopian tubes are attached to the uterus (womb) on the left and right sides.
