NICHD Website Seeks to Foster Contraceptive and Infertility Research

A new website offers reproductive health researchers a way to search for genes, proteins, and other molecules that could provide the basis for studies to develop new contraceptive methods and infertility treatments. The Contraceptive Infertility Target Database (CITDBase) is a free public resource developed by the Contraceptive Development Program in the NICHD’s Division of Intramural Population Health Research.

ASRM Research Institute Large Grant Cycle Opens August 2, 2021

The ASRM Research Institute large grant ($50,000 per year or greater) application cycle opens August 2, 2021. We invite investigators to develop research proposals addressing fundamental questions of major clinical significance to reproductive medicine. Investigators with a doctorate degree (MD, MD/PhD, PhD, ScD or equivalent), who meet eligibility, with expertise in reproductive health and science are encouraged to apply. A letter of intent, notifying ASRM of your interest in submitting a full proposal, is due on Nov 1st, 2021, and the full proposal is due by 4pm EST on February 15th, 2022.  To view eligibility criteria, funding priority areas, and grant timelines and guidelines please visit our website.
