Fertility & Sterility Journal Announces New Impact Factor

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) is proud to announce our flagship journal, Fertility and Sterility (F&S), has increased its impact factor to 6.312. This makes it the highest ranked original research journal dedicated to reproductive health.

F&S is an international journal for health care professionals who investigate/treat human reproductive physiology and its disorders. The peer-reviewed articles promote continuous and practice-based learning. The editorial and committee opinions encourage professionalism and set high ethical standards for reproductive medicine.

F&S Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Craig Niederberger, stated “We have worked diligently to make F&S among the most frequently referenced scientific journals with the highest immediacy and impact factors in the field of reproductive medicine.” He continued, “We are thrilled to learn that hard work has paid off.”

Commonly known as "The Red Journal," F&S has world-wide circulation and is highly regarded in the United States and abroad. Now in its sixth decade, Fertility and Sterility publishes juried original articles of scientific excellence in clinical and laboratory research relevant to reproductive endocrinology, physiology, immunology, genetics and menopause.

ASRM President, Dr. Catherine Racowsky, stated “F&S is an indispensable resource to reproductive endocrinologists, obstetricians, gynecologists, urologists, and basic scientists who treat and investigate the problems of fertility, sterility and the physiology of reproduction.” She continued, “This new improved factor for our treasured red journal verifies the significance of its value to our field.”
