Doctors Group Launches Ad Campaign for Ohio Issue 1

Washington, DC – The American Society Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) today announced the launch of an ad campaign throughout Ohio urging voters to select “Yes on Issue 1” when they head to the polls on November 7.
Issue 1 asks voters to codify the right to reproductive healthcare, including abortion, contraception, and fertility care, in the state constitution. Ohio is the only state with such a ballot measure in 2023, so this election will be closely watched by the whole country.
ASRM is urging Ohioan voters to vote YES on Issue 1 and to preserve the right of patients to obtain the health care procedures they need.
The ad campaign will consist of radio and internet advertising beginning this week and running through election day. From Chillicothe to Cincinnati, from Dayton through Toledo, ASRM will be getting the message out in Ohio.
"Despite attempts to thwart the democratic process, and deliberate misinformation from opponents, ASRM has faith that Ohioans will step up at the ballot box to state unequivocally that people- not governments – should be making their own medical decisions." said Sean Tipton, Chief Advocacy and Policy Officer of ASRM.
