ASRM publishes IVF one-pagers for media use
The documents lay out the clinical IVF process, summarize oversight of IVF in the U.S., and explain how lawmakers can support access to IVF.
For Immediate Release
The American Society for Reproductive Medicine has published a series of one-pagers on IVF for members of the media to use in their work covering fertility care in the U.S. IVF has recently become a prominent policy issue. We have seen increased coverage of IVF in the media since the Alabama Supreme Court’s LePage ruling, and we expect this trend to continue leading up to the November election, during which up to 10 states will have IVF measures on the ballot. These one-pagers are designed to help journalists cut through the rampant misinformation around IVF.
The documents lay out the clinical IVF process, summarize oversight of IVF in the U.S., and explain how lawmakers can support access to IVF. Please send questions, comments, and requests for additional one-pager topics to publicaffairs@asrm.org.
